Heather Nicole is a Congressionally Recognized, award-winning, published wildlife photographer currently based in Northern Nevada.
From childhood Polaroids to professional wildlife photography, Heather Nicole’s journey has been driven by an unbreakable connection to nature. With experience in film and digital photography, she now focuses on capturing wildlife photographs ethically and respectfully. From her backyard to the Arctic Tundra, she travels far and wide to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Her images have been featured in photography publications, highlighting her unique perspective. In her workshops, she helps photographers master their craft while learning to document nature without disturbance. Whether photographing whales, bears, birds, or bugs, Heather’s goal is to showcase stunning wildlife imagery that encourages people to appreciate and protect the natural world.
Andrew C. Strom is an award winning photographer based in Northern Nevada. He grew up in the Reno area and after serving six years in the Army National Guard he became a public servant, currently working for The City of Reno. Andrew took up photography during the pandemic of 2020 after meeting his now wife and fellow photographer, Heather Nicole. In the few years since, he has quickly earned renown for his work photographing moments in wildlife that capture the mood, personality, and soul of his many subjects.
He has achieved a number of awards from organizations such as The National Wildlife Federation, Birdwatching Magazine, Outdoor Photographer Magazine and The Nevada Artists Association. His work has been featured in galleries both locally and internationally. In 2025 he received a Special Congressional Recognition for his work from the United States Senate.
Andrew travels to find his subjects in their native environment while upholding the most stringent standards with regard to ethical and responsible practices when documenting wildlife. When weather and travel is limited he also focuses on both macro photography as well as creating digital art based on the wildlife subjects he has captured.
