Respect The Wild
Connecting you to the wild through ethical visual storytelling.
Founded by Heather Nicole and Andrew C. Strom, Respect The Wild is a collaborative initiative which seeks to use ethical wildlife photography and visual storytelling to spread awareness and evoke an emotional connection to wildlife and the environments they call 'home'.

Our Mission:
Wildlife is an essential and under-appreciated part of the world we live in. It is also something that is heavily, and often unknowingly, impacted by our own actions. By using ethical practices to capture candid moments in nature, we hope to demonstrate that these fellow inhabitants and their environments are worth our attention and deserve our respect. When we take the time to look closely, we find that animals have personality, mood, and emotion. Humans are more similar and more connected to wildlife than we may realize. Through visual storytelling, we show nature in a way that may have been previously unseen. In this ever-changing world, there is an urgency to tell the stories of the voiceless. We hope to help people grow closer to the wild, develop a connection to the wild, and ultimately, respect the wild.
